Volunteering as a Referee

Elmbrook United utilizes volunteer parent referees for U6, U7 & U8 games.  At the beginning of each season, Recreational Coaching Director Robert Williams will hold Referee Refresher Clinics to help coaches and parents develop a better understanding of the game at each age group. This refresher course will review the rules, answer your questions, and provide you with resources that will help you feel more comfortable in your volunteer referee role. Learn to referee effectively and teach players the proper way to play the game.

Referee Bonus Program

Referees who center 8 or more Elmbrook United recreational games during the spring or fall soccer season are entitled to receive the following bonus:
$50 check from EBU and $20 gift certificate to Stefan’s Soccer.

To claim the bonus, referees should click on this link to access the EBU Referee Bonus Form.  Referees should fill out one form for each EBU game centered. The information from all forms will be recorded and sent to EBU automatically, then forwarded to Jon Schrantz, Waukesha County referee assignor, for verification. Upon verification, referees will be mailed the $50 bonus check and $20 gift certificate to Stefan’s Soccer.

This bonus offer applies to EBU recreational soccer league games only (It does not apply to academy or select games. It does not apply to EBU Tournament games.)
