All tryouts are conducted by the Elmbrook United (EBU) coaching staff and other qualified personnel.

 According to WYSA rules, player notifications – that they have made a team – will be made beginning noon on Friday, June 14, for players U11 through U14, and Friday, June 21, for players U15 through U19.  Notifications will be made by email and/or phone.

Notifications will continue until rosters are complete – through Sunday, June 16, for players U11 through U14, and through Sunday, June 23, for players U15 through U19.  All players who attend tryouts will receive an email and/or phone call.

Players who are offered a spot on an EBU team have 24 hours to notify the team’s coach that they will accept the position.  If players do not contact the coach within 24 hours, their spots may be given to first alternate players.

Once an offer is accepted, a player will have an additional 24 hours to register online at http://elmbrookunited.com/registration/ and pay their initial registration fee of $200 along with their initial team fee of $200.  (The $200 team fee will be transferred to each player’s team account to be used for team expenses.)  Both of these initial fees are due by July 1.  After July 1, offers to any unregistered players may be rescinded and offered to other qualified players at the discretion of the club.

Future registration payments will be charged automatically to the credit card on file for your household in the EBU registration system.  (All registration fees can be split into three payments.)  Future team fees will be collected by your team’s treasurer and will be used to pay for tournaments, winter futsal leagues, social events, and your coach’s travel expenses.

Players are expected to commit to a team for the entire seasonal year – August 1, 2019 through July 31, 2020.  They also are expected to attend all team practices, games, and tournaments.  Players will not be excused from practices, games, and tournaments without their coach’s permission.  Unexcused or frequent absences may significantly reduce playing time.
